Job Title: Contract Health Educator / Workplace Wellbeing Presenter - --- - Job Overview: Wellbeing Think Tank is seeking experienced, engaging health educators and workplace wellbeing professionals in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area to join our pool of local presenters for in-person educational programs. - Presenting Opportunities: Presenters may be called upon periodically to facilitate evidence-based sessions for workplace audiences on a variety of health and wellbeing topics. - * Topics may include: + Stress management and resilience + Nutrition and healthy eating + Physical activity and movement + Sleep and recovery + Mental and emotional wellbeing + Healthy habits and behavior change + Preventive health + Work-life wellbeing + Other general health and wellbeing topics - Requirements: - * Applicants must have: + At least 5 years of professional experience in health education, workplace wellbeing, public health, health promotion, or a related field + A bachelor's degree or higher in health education, public health, nutrition, exercise science, behavioral health, psychology, workplace wellbeing, or a related discipline, or a recognized professional credential relevant to their area of expertise + Demonstrated experience delivering educational presentations, workshops, trainings, or facilitated sessions for adult audiences + Strong knowledge of evidence-based health and wellbeing practices and the ability to communicate research accurately and accessibly + Experience translating health information into practical strategies that participants can apply in their everyday lives + Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills + The ability to confidently facilitate discussion and respond appropriately to participant questions while remaining within their professional scope of practice + Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to represent wellbeing think tank and our clients effectively - * Availability: + Available to deliver in-person programs throughout the Portland metro area on an as-needed basis - Compensation: - * This is contract, engagement-based work with no guaranteed number of hours or sessions. - * Presenters are engaged as opportunities arise based on topic expertise, availability, location, and client needs. - * Compensation is determined by session length, preparation requirements, topic, travel, and overall scope of the engagement. - Application Questions: - * Are you currently located in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area or able to regularly travel throughout the Portland metro area for in-person engagements? - * Do you have experience delivering presentations, workshops, trainings, or facilitated sessions to adult audiences? - Experience: - * Health education, public health, wellbeing, or related field: 5 years (required) - * Work location: Hybrid remote in Portland, or 97218
