• 7-D preferred, but not required (Accept will assist in obtaining).
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, CORI, and other background checks

Job Description

Accept provides exceptional transportation services to our districts, and their students. Our drivers are critical to our success. Accept drivers provide safe and reliable transportation of special needs students.

Part-Time 7-D Van Drivers and Van Monitors

Transport students with disabilities to and from school. These are split shift positions. Drivers must hold a valid Massachusetts license for 3 years. Accept will assist you in obtaining a 7-D license. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, must pass a CORI/SORI check, fingerprint screen and drug screening.

Salary

$21.00 per hour to start and can be higher based on years of experience. $21 to $23 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school or educational setting based on assigned routes.
• Assist students to safely enter and exit the vehicle as needed.
• Operate vehicle in accordance with all federal and state traffic laws.
• Complete documentation and record keeping, required by Accept and the state.
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule

• 20 - 30 hours per week (possibility of going up to 40 hours per week)
• Hours and a work schedule are determined on an annual basis (for each school year), summers included
• Preferred but not required to work both morning and afternoon shifts daily (split shift)
