Job Title: Daily Substitute Teachers for 2026-2027

Job Description: Danvers Public Schools is currently recruiting for daily substitutes for the 2026/2027 school year. As a daily substitute, you will be working on a per diem, as-needed basis. Subbing is approximately 6.5 hours per day. The school start and end times vary by school.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Builds positive, caring relationships to ensure all students feel valued, respected, equitably supported, and a sense of belonging in the classroom community.
* Performs related duties in the absence of the regular classroom teacher to provide continuity in the day-to-day responsibilities by implementing the teacher's prepared lesson plans.
* Provides instructions according to lesson plans as prepared by the classroom teacher or creates lesson plans in absence of a prepared lesson.
* Maintains compliance with all district policies and procedures.
* Performs other related duties as requested by the teacher/principal
