Job Title: High School Swim Assistant Coach - Job Description: - * High school assistant swim coaching independence local schools in Cuyahoga County is seeking an assistant swim coach for Independence High School. - * Previous coaching experience is preferred but not required. - * Must be organized, hard-working, and demonstrate a strong desire to help build the high school swim program. - Responsibilities: - * Help oversee all phases of the swim program, including player development, youth involvement, and program culture. - * Provide leadership to the team that consistently achieves academic and athletic success. - * Monitor academic progress, - * Develop training programs that are safe and effective for student-athletes, - * Schedule meets and practices in accordance with school policies. - Requirements:* - * Employment is pursuant upon appropriate background checks and the obtainment of proper CPR, fundamentals of coaching, concussion management training, sudden cardiac arrest, and pupil activity supervision licensure from the Ohio Department of Education. - * Applications are being accepted, and the search will continue until the position is filled. - * Please complete the online application. - Contact Information: - * Danny Zillich, Athletic Director - (dzillich@independence.k12.oh.us or 216-642-5860, ext. 1240.)
