Bachelor's degree required. Preferred in Education, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with secondary students, at-risk youth, or alternative education populations preferred. Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners.

Experience using student data to monitor progress, develop success strategies, and support student success. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid coaching environment.
Job Description

The Student Success Coach supports student achievement, engagement, graduation attainment, and post-secondary readiness through academic progress monitoring, individualized coaching, career & college readiness, and family engagement. This position works collaboratively with building administration, students, families, staff, and community partners to help students successfully achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Assist students and families with transitions between the Alternative Learning Center and their home high school, including academic planning, scheduling, credit review, coordination with school counselors, and development of a successful transition plan. Develop and maintain Educational Development Plans (EDPs) and Individualized Student Success Plans. Monitor academic progress, credit attainment, attendance, and graduation pathways. Meet regularly with students and families to provide progress coaching and support. Assist students with career exploration, college planning, workforce readiness, financial aid, and post-secondary opportunities. Coordinate interventions and connect students with school and community resources to address barriers to success. Support student enrollment, scheduling, transcript review, and graduation processes. Assist with state, district, and building assessments as needed. Collaborate with staff to support student success, including implementation of 504 plans and other support structures. Participate in all required building and district professional development. Maintain accurate student records and perform other duties as assigned by the program administrator.
