• BS/BA in Education preferred.
• MA Dese License preferred.
• Strong desire to work with special needs children.
• Ability and experience working with students who have social/emotional and behavior challenges.
• Ability to work effectively with teachers and students.
• High personal integrity, reliability, punctuality, and ability to maintain confidentiality required.

Position Description

Position: Tutor - Special Education Assignment: Multi-Age Learning Center / TLC (This is a vacancy due to a one year leave of absence) Location: Furnace Brook Middle School Schedule: 35 hours per week Starting Date: As soon as possible for the 2026-2027 school year

Organizational Relationship or Line of Authority

Directly responsible to: Special Education Department Head, Building Principal, and Assistant Superintendent Student Services
