Responsibilities

• Maintain student confidentiality
• Deliver tailored instruction
• Foster student social-emotional and academic growth
• Implement behavior plans and IEP accommodations
• Collect data on student progress
• Collaborate with educators

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Massachusetts-endorsed Paraprofessional Assessment (Parapro or WorkKeys) completed
• 48 college credits completed
• Associate’s degree and prior experience with high school students with disabilities (optional)

Paraprofessional - Special Education

Nashoba Valley Technical High School seeks a dedicated special education paraprofessional to provide essential support to teachers and students with disabilities.

Work Requirements

This role may involve working directly with an individual student (1:1), providing support in academic classes, or assisting in vocational settings. Specific assignments are subject to change based on student needs. The paraprofessional also performs other reasonable duties as assigned by the Special Education Coordinator or the Director of Student Services.
