Job Title: Long Term Substitute - Special Education Instructor

Responsibilities
- Substitute teach during a long-term absence as a special education instructor.
- Must perform all responsibilities, classroom and supervisory, in a professional manner as expected of all district educators.
- Will be directly responsible to the building principal or designee.

Qualifications
- A minimum of Illinois substitute teaching license is required.
- Issued Illinois Professional Educator License is preferred.
- LBS1 9-12th grade endorsement is preferred.
- Ability to engage students to actively participate in the learning process.
- Ability to work closely with other staff members.

Compensation
- $135 per day for the first 10 consecutive days
- $262.35 per day after 10 consecutive days
