Job Description

Plymouth Regional High School is seeking a motivated and student-focused paraprofessional to support our outdoor recreation leadership teacher as part of our Career and Technical Education (CTE) team for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, school-year position offers a supportive working environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a competitive salary and benefits package. Working closely with the outdoor recreation leadership teacher, the paraprofessional will assist in delivering hands-on, four-season outdoor learning experiences. The role includes supporting students during classroom instruction, indoor and outdoor activities. Key responsibilities will include:
• Helping with group supervision,
• Reinforcing safety protocols,
• Encouraging student engagement,
• Assisting with logistical coordination of outdoor activities.

Ideal Candidates

• Have experience working with high school students, particularly in experiential or outdoor education settings.
• Be comfortable participating in a variety of outdoor environments and conditions.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a collaborative spirit.
• Support a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students.
• Be willing to assist with student behavior management and small group instruction under the direction of the lead teacher.
