Job Summary

Independence Community School District seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. The selected candidate will work closely with our special education team to provide support to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized plans for students Provide one-on-one support to students in the classroom, during activities, and during transitions Assist with data collection and record-keeping to track student progress Maintain a safe and organized learning environment Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent Collaborative, dependable, and willing to learn Excellent benefit package
