About the Employer

Duties

• Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning.
• Inform the teacher of any problems or special information about students.
• Participate in in-service training programs, as assigned.
• Work with students in independent study, skills work, and remedial work assigned by the teacher.
• Other related duties may be assigned
• Experience working with students with special needs preferred
• Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
• Assist in gathering data on students
• Discrete trial implementation and data collection
• Safety care training which will be provided by WSPS

Qualifications

Associates degree or 48 college credits attained, or WorkKeys completed Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed Experience working with students with autism Background in ABA Such alternatives found to be appropriate Salary:* Commensurate with the West Springfield Paraprofessional (Unit D) contract (hourly pay range: $18.67/hour - $23.96/hour)
