Education and Certification

Must have a current valid professional educator's license and teaching/supervising/assisting a classroom activity at least two periods daily in a member school. Or, retired teacher from a member school with a current valid Illinois Professional Educator's License.

Additional Requirements

Or must be at least 19 years of age and complete an IHSAA approved coaching education course. Applicant must also have completed training and be certified in Heartsaver AED/CPR or receive training prior to the start of the season.
