Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching science to students in grades K-5.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and implement school-wide initiatives
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and needs

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Science Education or related field
• Teaching certification in Elementary Education (Grades K-5)
• 2+ years of teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of science curriculum and instructional methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move freely in the classroom and school hallways
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changes in schedule
• Valid driver's license and ability to transport students safely

Salary and Benefits

• Competitive salary range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
