Annual Salary: Salary and benefits per Georgetown Education Association contract.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Year: 184 days, the school year & professional development days

Qualifications
Previous experience in working with middle school students in a public school setting preferred
Knowledge of curriculum frameworks
Able to take direction from subject supervisor
Able to work with high school students
Able to assess students and effectively plan instruction
Possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to successfully collaborate with colleagues.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are a must.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.
Certified in Massachusetts as high school science teacher or biology required
Salary & Benefits
Per agreement between the Georgetown School Committee and Georgetown Education Association.
