Position Summary:
Performs managerial and supervisory duties operating a district-wide food service operation.
Collaborates with others in the school, school district, and community to operate a successful district nutrition program which complies with all state and federal regulations and district policy.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education experience, with academic major in specific areas;
* Bachelor’s degree in any academic major, and state-recognized certificate for school nutrition directors;
* Bachelor’s degree in any academic major, and at least two years of relevant school nutrition programs experience;
* Associate’s degree or equivalent educational experience, with academic major in specific areas, and at least two years of relevant school nutrition programs experience.

*Responsibilities:
* Knowledge of proper methods of planning, preparing, cooking, serving foods,
* and proper procedures involved in managing a large school lunch program with the federal and state forms as required.
* Knowledge of how to requisition proper food amounts and following the established purchasing procedures.
* Knowledge of state and federal child nutrition rules and regulations, including the free and reduced lunch process.

*Requirements:
* Valid food handler’s certificate
* Valid Oregon driver’s license and be able to maintain insurable status for automotive and liability coverage.
