Job Title: School Nutrition Services Manager Trainee (SSC)
Summary:
Under general supervision, participant completes a training program that will prepare them for all managerial responsibilities including supervision, cashiering, ordering procedures, production, record keeping, etc. in the school nutrition services department. This position is intended to develop a candidate to be considered for a future School Nutrition Services Manager position.

Qualifications:
* ServSafe certification
* Minimum of three years of experience in school food services or other food service area
* Basic reading, writing, and computation skills; good written and oral communication skills; knowledge of how to manage group dynamics; proficiency with basic computer skills.

Pay Rate:
School Nutrition Services Grade C4C salary scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)

Assignment:
* Full time / 10 months / 185 days

Start Date:
This position is effective for the 2026-2027 school year.
