Job Description: Crossing guard Shifts available Mornings: Approximately 6:45 – 9:15 am Afternoons: Approximately 1:45 – 3:30 pm Responsibilities Include:
• Direct or escort pedestrians across streets, stopping traffic as necessary
• Guide or control vehicular or pedestrian traffic at crossing areas
• Communicate traffic and crossing rules and other information to students and adults
• Model appropriate street skills and behavior for students
• Reports to school resource officers and MPS Business Office
