School Culture and Climate Committee - Lawrence School
The School Culture and Climate Committee works with the school staff to ensure a safe, respectful school community.
Responsibilities of Committee Members
Attend regular one-hour monthly meeting
Identify structures to build and support staff/student relationships
Promote anti-bullying practices among staff
Facilitate staff discussions regarding bullying prevention
Serve as a liaison to other teachers, and communicate information from the committee meetings
Serve as a resource to colleagues to make sure staff feel supported in their bullying prevention efforts
Problem solve school-based challenges around student relationships and bullying
Membership
School-based educators (no stipend for principals and vice principals, if members of the committee)
Stipend
$500 per member
