Reports to: Principal
Work Year: Full-time (school year) and part-time (summer)
Salary Range: Contractual starting pay - $21.18 per hour

Qualifications:*
- High school education.
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience with secretarial office functions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, and software database programs.
- Proven organization skills and strong reading comprehension.
- Experience with document filing protocols, strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Summary of Responsibilities:
* Serves as the Principal's secretary and assumes responsibility for;
* Maintains office files and records,
* Serves as a receptionist,
* Routes mail,
* Answers telephone and provides general information in response to inquiries from the school community and beyond;
* Operates word processor, other office machines, types correspondence, memos, teacher observations, and staff evaluations, accounting and statistical tables, purchase order and miscellaneous material;
* Enters daily student attendance data by computer;
* Maintains inventory records of school supplies and equipment,
* Registers and discharges students and maintain all related records,
* Maintain student activity accounts;
* Performs such other job-related duties as may be assigned by the school principal.
