Qualifications

5+ years classroom experience and minimum of three years of coaching experience Comfortable working with group dynamics while managing the meeting or activity process Competent in making observations and recognizing when interactions, situations, or group dynamics change Deep knowledge of core academic areas (such as: math, science, reading, writing and literacy)

Promising Practices Prof. Development Series Facilitator

To facilitate teacher leadership by assisting teachers with lesson study and implementing PD in best practices through standard-based instruction; supporting peer-led, evidence-based PD. Assist staff in the creation of content-area PLCs. Assist study group facilitators in engaging the group in reflective conversations and planning. Support facilitators in crafting meeting content, objectives, and establish ground rules that govern behavior. Assist in supporting the facilitator in utilizing the study group protocol.
