Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to students in the classroom
• Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation
• Develop and implement activities to promote student learning and development

• Operate a school bus safely and efficiently
• Develop and implement curriculum to promote student learning and development
• Monitor student behavior during class time
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement instructional strategies
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in school buildings
• Oversee construction projects from start to finish
• Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized plans to address student needs
• Teach welding techniques to students in a vocational setting
• Provide individualized support to students with disabilities in the classroom
• Provide substitute support in the classroom

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience working with young children preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience working in an educational setting preferred
• Previous experience working in an administrative role preferred
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required
• Associate's degree in education or related field required
• Previous experience working in a custodial role preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Previous experience working in a transportation role preferred
• Previous experience working in a language arts role preferred
• Previous experience working in a mathematics role preferred
• Associate's degree in electrical technology or related field required
• Previous experience working in an electrical role preferred
• Previous experience working in a management role preferred
• Previous experience working in a foreign language role preferred
• Master's degree in speech-language pathology or related field required
• Associate's degree in welding technology or related field required
• Previous experience working in a vocational setting preferred
