Duties and Responsibilities:

* The successful candidate will:
� Plan and implement the physical education & health curriculum for grades 9-12.
� Evaluate individual students using department-developed common assessment tools, maintain up-to-date records of student progress.
� Collaborate with members of the prek-12 physical education & health department to review,
develop and execute a rigorous district curriculum aligned to state standards.
� Create a positive, inviting, and safe learning environment while modeling enthusiasm for learning.
� Develop, model, and practice class procedures and routines.
� Modify instructional practices to meet individual student needs.
� Communicate high expectations to all learners, as well as realistic and consistent expectations for student behavior
and applies appropriate consequences.
� Other duties as assigned by building administrators.
