For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. Currently Seeking: A passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Fairfax Station, VA on a part-time basis year round. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

*Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
- Provide individualized assistance to students
- Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
- Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
- Most class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.

Position Details:
- Year-round, 20-hour a week commitment
- Monday-Friday, 8am-12pm

Qualifications:
- B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- Active Virginia teaching license
- Comfortable working with 7th-12th grade students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
- Reliable transportation
