About the Employer

Responsibilities

• Assist in cooking, preparing, and serving daily meals from the planned menu.
• Assist with cleaning and following food safety procedures.
• Ability to assist in filling out proper production records and food safety logs.
• Maintain compliance with federal regulations regarding all school lunch programs.
• Interact with all personnel, students, building patrons, federal/state inspectors, vendors, and delivery persons with a positive can-do attitude.
• Ability to operate all kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand on your feet for long periods of time.
• Check in students at meal service on POS system.
• Prepare lunch account deposits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Food Service Worker - Part Time

The Nevada Community School District is looking for a part-time food service general worker to join our team at NCSD! This position begins as soon as possible with flexible 4-hour days between 7am-2pm, Monday through Friday. Training will be provided.

Qualifications & Experience

Education/Experience: Food Service Experience: Preferred ServSafe Certification - Recommended, but district will provide paid training to obtain after 6 months of service.
• High school diploma/GED
