Estimated Hours

Monday through Thursday: 6:45-9:00 AM; 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM Friday: 6:45-9:00 AM; 12:45 PM - 2:30 PM

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent Willingness to learn about and ensure student safety Able to lift 50 lbs

Essential Functions

Supervises students and work with a wide range of various needs, including physical, behavior, and social. Ensures students follow bus safety guidelines before, during, and after transport. Guides each student toward making appropriate choices and accepting responsibility for their own behavior. Alerts the bus driver and transportation director to any problem or special information regarding an individual student.

Consistent Reporting and Attendance

Consistently reports to work Adheres to scheduled shift times Notifies the transportation director of any absences or lateness

Student-focused, team-oriented, and have a strong desire to actively engage with students Holds a humble philosophy that doing whatever it takes to help students be successful is required Have effective time management skills and organizational skills Enjoys kids, working with others, and making a positive difference in the lives of children Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information regarding students as is expected of fully licensed teachers.
