Qualifications:
---
* Associate degree or at least 2 years at an institution of higher education
* Special needs middle school experience preferred
* Experience as a teaching assistant in special education environment, preferably with students with social-emotional disabilities
* CPI training preferred
* Team player, flexible

Duties:
---
* Assist and support students in specialized program for students returning from extended absences and for students with social-emotional disabilities
* Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team of educators
* Ability to modify curriculum
* Work collaboratively with others in the classroom
* Must attend and participate in early release day activities
