Position: Teaching Assistant (4 positions) -

Location: Stacy Middle School -

Schedule: 2026-2027 school year, 7:45am - 2:15pm -

Salary: Per contract $19.10 - $24.92 per hour based on experience & certification -

To Start: September 2026 -

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree preferred;
Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement preferred;
Experience working with students with and without disabilities;
Demonstrate the ability to assist in the inclusion and/or special education classroom;
Experience working with English language learners
Bilingual preferred
CPI training preferred

Responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of building administration, special education teachers, and classroom teachers;
Assist small groups and/or individual students with progress toward academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral goals within the classroom, with guidance provided by the teacher;
Communicate and collaborate with teachers;
Provide direct instruction in an inclusion classroom or small group setting;
Ability to modify curriculum;
Maintain confidential information;
Collect data on student performance as needed;
Assist students with daily living/self-help skills;
Attend and participate in training opportunities as directed;
Perform supervisory duties, as assigned by school administration.
