Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Behavioral Assistant to join our team. As an MBE, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider
• Assist with medical procedures, take vital signs, and perform other clinical tasks as needed
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Medical Behavioral Assistant (CMB) or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in behavioral health
• BLS/CPR certification and ability to maintain current certifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull equipment as needed
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and move quickly around the clinic
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
• May require bending, stooping, or kneeling to assist patients

Working Conditions

• Work in a fast-paced clinical environment with frequent interruptions
• Exposure to infectious diseases and bodily fluids
• May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information

Salary and Benefits

• Competitive salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience
