Job Title: Long Term Substitute Nurse - Job Description: Long Term Substitute Nurse - West Springfield Public Schools - Duties: - Qualifications: - Salary: $38.61/hour
• Provide first aid to children, care for students who have suffered an injury or medical emergency.
• Dispense prescribed medications in accordance with school policy and physician orders.
• Perform medical procedures as indicated by students' physicians.
• Screen students in the areas of vision, hearing and scoliosis.
• Maintain health records.
• Maintain confidentiality in school, home, and community settings as mandated by Massachusetts regulations.
• Performs other duties reasonably related to his/her function, as assigned.
• RN, BSN, MA - School Nurse Licensed or Eligible
• CPR Certified
