Job Description

This is a long-term substitute opening for a paraprofessional in the Therapeutic Learning Center (TLC) program at the John F. Kennedy School. The Kennedy School is a Grade K-4 elementary school.

Position Details

• Available until: approximately March 1, 2027
• Hourly rate: $15/hour
• Employee benefits are not included

Program Overview

The TLC program provides specialized mental health support for students whose difficulties with emotional regulation interfere with their ability to make meaningful progress toward their educational goals in school.

Job Responsibilities

This position works collaboratively with a number of other paraprofessionals, a special education teacher, a social worker, a BCBA, and an RBT to provide a therapeutic environment and support for students.
