Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Sped Life Skills Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction, support, and guidance to students with disabilities in a life skills setting.
Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum to meet the needs of students with disabilities in life skills settings.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide support and guidance to students with disabilities to promote independence and self-sufficiency.
• Utilize data-driven decision making to inform instruction and drive student achievement.
Requirements
• Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Texas teaching certification in Special Education, including the Sped Life Skills Specialist endorsement.
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a life skills setting.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range
• $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
