Kindergarten Teacher - Extended Substitute (November - March) -

Duties

* Demonstrate knowledge of subject(s) through instructional practices
* Guide the learning process toward the achievement of Common Core State Standards
* Integrated technology use in classroom instruction
* Collaborative model of instruction with interventionist, special educators and special area teachers
* Instructor of multi-tiered system of supports – Response to Instruction and Intervention
* Document, chart and use assessment information to define instructional groupings which is corrective and informative
* Establish and maintain standards of student behavior conducive to an effective learning environment through the knowledge of Positive Behavior Supports and Interventions.
* Shared electronic lesson planning
* Direct and supervise the work of paraprofessionals, volunteers and student teachers assigned to the classroom
* Maintain productive lines of communication with students, parents, and colleagues concerning both the academic and social progress of all students
* Implement administrative directives in a professional manner (re: new programs and policies)
* Adhere to all district policies and regulations
