Job Title: Dual Language Kindergarten Classroom Teaching Assistant
Position: Dual Language Kindergarten Classroom Teaching Assistant SY26-27

Location: Memorial Elementary School
Schedule: 2026-2027 School Year
Salary: Per Contract
To Start: ASAP

Qualifications:
* Bilingual; Fluent in Spanish, Required
* Proof of Spanish Proficiency via Spanish MTel, WPT/OPI, or Other Pathway as Approved in Dese Guidance for the Provision of Interpreters in the Education Setting (P. 7 and 8), Required within the First Year of Employment
* Completion of the 2-Hour Online Language Ambassador Training Course, Certificate Required Upon Hire
* Bachelor's Degree, Preferred;
* Experience Working with Students at the Early Childhood Level
* Experience Working with English Learners (ELS)
* Experience Working with Students with Disabilities
* Whole Classroom Setting Experience, Preferred

Responsibilities:
All Classroom Duties to be Performed in Spanish:
* Strong Organizational Skills;
* Work Collaboratively with the Assigned Kindergarten Teacher and Other Professionals in the Classroom;
* Participate in Professional Learning Opportunities as Directed by Building and District Administration and the Classroom Teacher;
* Willingness to Assist with Bathrooming Skills of Kindergarten Students;
* Lead Small Groups and Follow Plans Provided by the Classroom Teacher;
* Perform All Duties and Responsibilities Related to a Kindergarten Classroom;
* Work Collaboratively with the Classroom Teacher to Create a Supportive Classroom that, as Much as Possible, Aligns with Current Research in Dual Language Education and Meets Students' Individual Needs, Interests, and Abilities.
