Job Summary

A 12-month custodial position is available for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This role will involve performing daily cleaning tasks, maintaining a safe and healthy environment, and ensuring the school facilities are well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash cans
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Ensure the school facilities are well-maintained, including restrooms, cafeterias, and playgrounds
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor in a timely manner
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy objects
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to work (school bus provided for substitute positions)
