Responsibilities
Coaches of each interscholastic sport in the BWRSd shall be knowledgeable and skilled in the techniques of their sport. The head coach is responsible for promoting, coordinating, and continually improving the interscholastic sport he/she is assigned. Every coach is directly responsible to the Athletic Director for the content, conduct, and coordination of his/her program.
Requirements
• Experience with secondary school level coaching preferred.
• Rhode Island Certificate for Athletic Coach (NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and Sudden Cardiac Arrest courses) and current Red Cross certification(s) in CPR and First Aid required, as well as annual recertification for RI Rules and NFHS Concussion course.
Assistant Coach - Jumping Coach.
Position available for winter 2026-2027 season, dependent upon funding and sufficient sign-ups.

Athletics is an intricate part of the overall education process in the BWRSd and each coach is responsible through enthusiasm, ability, and determination to promote and upgrade their interscholastic program taking into account the following areas:
