Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate ESE-Ve Inclusion Support Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will work closely with students, parents, and staff to provide individualized support and accommodations to ensure equal access to education for all students.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide instruction and support in a variety of settings, including classrooms, resource rooms, and individual settings
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and other support personnel to ensure comprehensive student support
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and needs
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in ESE-Ve Inclusion
Qualifications
• Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Florida Teaching Certificate with ESE-Ve endorsement
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and other disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to move around the school building as needed
Salary and Benefits
• Salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
