High School Band Director (Supplemental)
The purpose of this position is for students to have experiences with concerts/programs, and rehearsals that are outside of the school day. Students who take classes during the school day will be the ones who perform in the after-school concerts and programs.
Responsibilities:
Choosing the performance pieces
Preparing students for a successful experience
Responsible for students on rehearsal and performance nights
Booking facilities
Minimum Requirements:
3 concert performances for each ensemble
1 adjudicated event
Additional after-school rehearsals as needed
Regular booster meeting attendance
Community and district performances are highly encouraged
Ensure that all pay-to-participate fees are collected
Salary: In accordance with the established salary schedule.
