About the Employer
Responsibilities
The head coach is responsible for promoting, coordinating and continually improving the interscholastic sport he/she is assigned.
• Coaches of each interscholastic sport at Mt. Hope High School shall be knowledgeable and skilled in the techniques of their sport.
• Every coach is directly responsible to the athletic director for the content, conduct and coordination of his/her program.
Requirements
• Experience with secondary school level coaching preferred.
• Rhode Island Certificate for Athletic Coach (NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and Sudden Cardiac Arrest courses) and current Red Cross Certification(s) in CPR and First Aid required, as well as annual recertification for NFHS RI Rules Test and Concussion Course.

Position available for winter 2026-2027 season, dependent upon funding and sufficient sign-ups.
