Job Title: Tennis Head Coach - Spring 2026-27 - Job Description: Position available for Spring 2026-27 season, dependent upon funding and sufficient sign-ups. - Responsibilities - * Promote, coordinate, and continually improve the interscholastic sport assigned. - * Ensure direct responsibility to the Athletic Director for content, conduct, and coordination of programs. - * Promote and upgrade interscholastic program through enthusiasm, ability, and determination. - * Consider areas such as administration, budget, rules and regulations, equipment and uniforms, team travel, scheduling, team management, and certification. - Expectations - * Student-athlete is expected to be a student first and an athlete second. - * All applicants must believe in the educational experience athletics provides to students and live within program rules and regulations. - * Coaches are expected to demonstrate respect, loyalty, character, sportsmanship, and honor both on and off the court and/or field. - * Coaches will develop each athlete as a citizen of the community and ensure positive athletic experiences for all students-athletes. - Requirements - * Experience with secondary school level coaching preferred. - * Rhode Island Certificate for Athletic Coach (NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and Sudden Cardiac Arrest courses) and current Red Cross Certification(s) in CPR and First Aid required. - * Annual recertification for RI Rules and NFHS Concussion course required. - Application Information - * All applicants must apply through www.schoolspring.com to be considered. - * Complete cover letter, resume, certification, and letters of reference sections in Schoolspring. - Equal Opportunity Employer - Bristol Warren Regional School Department is committed to maintaining a work and learning environment free from discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, pregnancy, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital/civil union status, ancestry, place of birth, age, citizenship status, veteran status, political affiliation, genetic information or disability, as defined and required by state and federal laws.
