Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Cheerleading Coach to lead our winter cheerleading program. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing practice plans, coaching squads, and competing at local and regional competitions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement practice plans and coaching strategies for the cheerleading squad
• Lead and motivate team members to achieve excellence in competition and community events
• Collaborate with school administrators and other coaches to ensure program alignment with school goals and policies
• Travel to competitions and events as required
• Maintain a safe and positive team environment
• Recruit and retain talented team members
• Manage team budget and expenses
• Comply with all school and league rules and regulations

Qualifications

• 2+ years of coaching experience, preferably at the high school level
• Proven track record of success in competition and community events
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and move freely
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
