Job Title: Tutor - Title I Grant-Funded (19.5 hours per wk) -

Position: Title I Tutor's (Title I Grant-Funded to June 2027)

Reports To: Title I Director and Building Principal

Salary: $25.00 per hour

Location: Center Elementary School

Hours: 19.5 hours per week, until the end of FY'27 school year

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree preferably in Education (minimum)
* Excellent interpersonal and collaborative problem-solving skills.
* Successful prior experience working with general education students.
* Knowledge of best practices in teaching and learning and the ability to apply these practices.
* Ability to plan student lessons and work independently with individuals and groups.
* Commitment to the district's goals & school improvement plan goals.

Responsibilities:
* Using prepared lesson plans, instruct at-risk individuals or small groups of students within the regular classroom and occasionally other settings.
* Facilitate the instructional programs of all assigned students under the supervision of the classroom teacher, Title I Director, and Building Principal.
* Document student performance and progress in collaboration with the classroom teachers and/or the student's individual program requirements.
* Plan appropriate instructional activities and administer assessments in collaboration with classroom teachers.
* Meet regularly with other staff members and classroom teachers to coordinate interdisciplinary programs and activities.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal or designee.
