Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
• 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
• Ability to produce an official, degree-dated transcript from an accredited university

Position Purpose

Under the general supervision of the school principal, to facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district-approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students and by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

Minimum Degree Requirements

Minimum degree level: Bachelor's degree (click here for more info about master's pay) Alternative licensed pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year emergency license and later work with you to convert this to a residency license.
