About the Employer

Duties

• Assist in preparation of meals and serving of meals in a fast-paced setting.
• Serve food as directed to meet the recipe specifications, and state and federal regulations.
• Assist in cleaning the kitchen daily.
• Maintain established departmental and district policies and procedures, objectives, health and safety standards, and HACCP standards.
• Encourage and facilitate cooperation, pride, and trust in working with others to achieve goals.
• Participate in unit meeting, in-service training, workshops, etc.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Food and Nutritional Services.

Requirements

• Must run POS (Point of Sale/Computer) independently.
• Must assist with orders and inventory.
• Must be ServSafe certified and Allergy Aware Certified, or obtain certifications within 1 year of employment.
• Must be reliable. Follows school schedule. Start time hours remain the same on school delays due to weather, etc.
