Day Flex Custodian

Position Criteria:
* High school diploma, preferred
* Custodial experience: 0-2 years required, 3-5 years preferred

Performance Criteria:
* Cleaning to include vacuuming floors, cleaning desk/table tops, emptying trash & recycling, cleaning sinks and windows, sweeping & wet mopping tile floors, lifting & moving lunch tables daily.
* Clean restrooms
* Operate a variety of equipment (vacuums, scrubber, etc)
* Perform regular routine maintenance such as fixing lockers and changing batteries and lightbulbs
* Perform preventative maintenance on cleaning equipment as scheduled
* Perform deep cleaning
* Enter work orders as necessary
* Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

The custodian physical job demands include:
* Occasional maximum lift of 50 lbs from waist to above shoulder;
* Occasional maximum lift of 50 lbs from floor to waist;
* Frequent maximum lift of 30 lbs from floor to shoulder;
* Frequent carry of 50 lbs 10 feet;
* Occasional maximum horizontal push/pull of 20 lbs;
* Occasional maximum vertical pull of 25 lbs;
* Frequent maximum grip of 20 lbs;
* Frequent climb to 8 inches;
* Occasional overhead reach;
* Occasional trunk rotation;
* Frequent reach forward to 24 inches;
* Frequent bending;
* Frequent standing;
* Frequent walking;
* Frequent balance.
PDC Level: Heavy based on maximum floor to shoulder lift.
