Job Title: Custodian - 8 hrs/day

New Hire Rate:
Entry-level rate: $18.17 per hour.
Current employees with seniority in the bargaining unit should refer to the salary schedule established by the bargaining unit.

**Duties & Responsibilities:"
* Clean and sanitize desk, table tops, door handles, restroom fixtures
* Clean glass
* Dust horizontal surfaces, clocks, overhead screens, and blinds
* Wet mopping of floors, spot cleaning of carpets and hard flooring
* Assist with deep cleaning during break periods (stripping, scrub & recoat, carpet extraction, cleaning restrooms, glass, and furniture)
* Trash removal
* Remove snow
* Minor grounds keeping
* Lawn mowing
* Assist with delivery of supplies
* Properly maintain equipment
* Report maintenance issues to head and lead custodians
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Clean restrooms

Physical Requirements of Position:
(Heavy-duty, physically demanding work)
Ability to lift & carry up to 56 lb.
Ability to climb up to an 8-ft ladder and perform custodial tasks (e.g., cleaning light fixtures)
Ability to climb steps and work on uneven ground
