Job Description:

Custodian - 8 hrs/day
North High - Tuesday to Friday: 11:00 am - 7:30 pm
Saturday: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Internal bids thru 8/24/26 @ 4:00 pm. External applicants (we will hire externally if no successful internal bidder): open until filled.
New hire: Entry level rate $18.17/hr. Current employees with seniority in the bargaining unit, please refer to the salary schedule established by the bargaining unit.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Clean/sanitize desk/table tops, door handles, restroom fixtures Clean glass Dusts horizontal surfaces, clocks, overhead screens, and blinds Wet mopping of floors, spot cleaning of carpets and hard flooring Assists with deep cleaning during break periods Stripping, scrub & recoat, carpet extraction, cleaning restrooms, glass, and furniture Trash removal Removes snow Minor grounds keeping Lawn mowing Assists with delivery of supplies Properly maintains equipment Reports maintenance issues to head and lead custodians Performs other duties as assigned Cleans restrooms

Must Work Days:

Ability to lift & carry up to 56 lb. Ability to climb up to an 8-ft ladder and perform custodial task (ie: cleaning light fixture) Ability to climb steps and work on uneven ground
