Qualifications
Experience and Skills
Experience in custodial work or willingness to learn
Ability to do physical labor
Reports To
Building Principal/Area Supervisor
Job Goal
To provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play, and develop.
Performance Responsibilities
Floor Care
Scrub, mop, wax, and polish floors as needed.
Vacuum and clean carpet.
Furniture and Fixtures
Dust and polish furniture, wash windows, woodwork, venetian blinds, and bathrooms.
Grounds Maintenance
Responsible for removal of trash from assigned areas.
Clean up grounds and perform the routine tasks required in the care of the grounds.
General Labor
Move office and school furniture as needed.
Perform work at varying heights on a ladder.
Perform some heavy lifting.
Other Duties
Perform other duties as assigned.
Terms of Employment
Salary Range
Range 1 - Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($15.00/hr. - $21.06/hr. depending on relevant experience)
Contract Details
Length of contract: 182 contract days, 4 hours per day

Evaluation
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the board's policy on evaluation of support staff personnel.
