Qualifications

Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment in school housekeeping and ability to use them with skill and efficiency. Ability to exercise care in the use of cleaning materials for different types of building surfaces. Skill in the use of electrical and hand appliances ordinarily used in housekeeping activities. Ability to make minor repairs and adjustments to structures and equipment.

Date Posted: September 23, 2026 (Internal), Open Until Filled (External) Location: North Valley High School Hours Per Day: 8 hours Days Per Week: 5 days Days Per Year: 260 days Closing Date and Time: Open until filled Compensation: $19.54 - $24.75 per hour, new hires will be placed at Step 1 through 9 dependent on prior contracted educational experience. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Physical strength to withstand the strain of performing eight hours of manual tasks. High moral standards and character necessary for association with children. Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members, students, and the general public. Preferred six months of experience in work relating to the care of school buildings and grounds.

Ability to understand, interpret, and follow instructions.
