Job Title - abe esol teacher (beginner/intermediate level) - --- - --- - Job Description - Monday - Thursday 8:30 am -12:00 pm, 14 hours per week - Hourly Rate - $42.44/hour - Requirements - - Job Summary - The teacher is the district's primary agent for instruction with responsibility for presenting the prescribed curriculum effectively and employing a diagnostic/prescriptive approach to identification and subsequent adaptation to the needs and interests of the students. - Duties and Responsibilities - - Note - No formatting changes made to preserve 100% verbatim text.
• Bachelor's degree required;
• Master's degree and MA Deses Teacher Certification preferred
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of curriculum content
• Planning and assessment of instruction and curriculum
• Maintaining classroom management

• Promoting high standards and expectations for student achievement
• Communicating with students, parents, and other district employees to work on behalf of students
• Promoting equity and appreciation of diversity
