Job Title: Special Education Teacher - Elementary Strive (ASD) Program

Job Description: The Campbell Elementary School is seeking a Special Education Teacher for our Elementary Strive Substantially Separate program for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Provide specialized instruction to students in a special education setting
* Have a strong understanding of developmental milestones and modified curriculum at the elementary level
* Experience and general understanding of the concepts of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
* Experience with being part of the Instructional Support Team, including classroom teachers, auxiliary support service providers, BCBA, and paraprofessionals
* Experience with IEP drafting and progress monitoring through the collection of data
* Experience with assessment and eligibility determination
* Strong organization, writing, and communication skills

Other Responsibilities:
* Abide by state statutes, school board policies, and regulations.
* Attend meetings and perform duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.
* Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
* Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
* Remain current on instructional practices in education (e.g. instructional technology)
